Sorrell Logothetis is a past chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association, the world's largest organization of labor and employment lawyers.  He received his undergraduate degree cum laude from Kent State University and his law degree from the Georgetown University Law School.  He started his career as a field attorney working for the National Labor and Relations Board, Region 9, Cincinnati, and entered the private practice of labor law in Dayton, in 1967, representing labor unions throughout the state of Ohio. 

Mr. Logothetis has devoted his entire career to the representation of labor organizations and employees in the private and public sectors in negotiations, arbitrations, grievances, federal district court and state lawsuits (trial and appellate courts), the NLRB, the State Employee Relations Board, and internal union administration and governance.  He has represented labor organizations at the local, state and international levels. 

Mr. Logothetis is a charter member of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers and a member of the Ohio Bar Foundation and the American Bar Foundation.  He has been selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America for over twenty years in every publication since its first publication in 1983.  He was listed in the Ohio Super Lawyers, 2006 publication as one of the top 100 lawyers in the State.   

Mr. Logothetis has continued to be active in the activities of the American Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Section and currently serves as a delegate for the Section to the ABA House of Delegates. 

He has attended the Harvard Law School Program of Instruction for Lawyers Mediation Workshop and has successfully completed the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service Course Becoming a Labor Arbitrator.
